Custard Colour Mechanical Keyboard Keycaps for 68, 75, 98 and 100 Column Layouts

Give your mechanical keyboard a cohesive and characterful new look with this set of replacement keycaps. Designed with a soft custard-inspired colour scheme and a cute aesthetic, these keycaps transform the visual feel of your typing experience. They are specifically made to be compatible with keyboards featuring 68, 75, 98, or 100-key layouts, covering many popular compact and full-size mechanical designs. The uniform XDA profile across the set provides a consistent typing surface and a clean, modern appearance. Available in distinct mouse-themed colour variants, this keyset offers a straightforward way to personalise your setup without modifying the keyboard's internal switches.

Features and Construction

This keycap set is defined by its specific compatibility and visual design, making it a targeted upgrade for particular keyboard models.

Material and Build

The keycaps are manufactured from plastic, which is the standard and most common material for aftermarket keycap sets. This material choice results in a lightweight final product that is easy to install and provides the necessary rigidity for daily typing. The keycaps feature an XDA profile, which is a uniform, relatively low-profile shape where all key rows share the same height and curvature. This differs from the sculpted profiles of many stock keycaps and can offer a distinct, consistent feel across the entire keyboard.

Size and Practical Fit

The complete set of keycaps is packaged with approximate dimensions of 20cm in length, 5cm in width, and 3cm in height. Crucially, the set is designed to fit keyboards with 68, 75, 98, or 100 keys. This column-based compatibility means it will cover the alphanumeric keys, modifiers, and navigation cluster on compatible layouts, but users should verify their specific keyboard's layout, especially regarding non-standard bottom row sizes or unusual key sizes, which may not be covered by a standard set.

Uses and Placement

These keycaps serve a clear purpose for keyboard enthusiasts and regular users looking to refresh their equipment's appearance.

Event or Professional Use

For streamers, content creators, or professionals who have their keyboard in view, the distinct custard and grey or yellow colour scheme provides a consistent, on-brand backdrop. The cute design element can help personalise a workspace visually without being overly distracting. The XDA profile's uniform look is clean and professional on camera, offering a cohesive aesthetic that differs from the often gamer-focused designs of stock keycaps.

Everyday Home Use

At home, these keycaps allow you to customise the look of a compatible mechanical keyboard to better match your desk setup or personal taste. The process of swapping keycaps is simple and reversible, making it a low-commitment modification. The soft colour palette is easier on the eyes during long typing sessions compared to high-contrast schemes, and having a full matching set creates a tidy, intentional look on your desk.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its specific compatibility and the complete visual transformation it enables.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Keycaps are a component that can be swapped multiple times. If you upgrade your keyboard later to another compatible 68, 75, 98, or 100-column model, you can move this keycap set over to the new board, extending its usefulness. Maintenance is minimal; plastic keycaps can be wiped clean with a dry cloth if dust accumulates, and they do not require any specialist cleaning fluids or processes.

Why Choose This Product

This keycap set is a practical choice if you own a compatible keyboard layout and seek a complete, themed visual overhaul. It provides a full solution, replacing all the main keys at once for a uniform look, unlike individual novelty keycaps. The clear specification regarding column count compatibility helps avoid the common issue of buying a set that doesn't fit your specific keyboard. The offered colour options provide a specific aesthetic choice that moves away from standard black, white, or RGB-focused designs.
