Soft Fleece Pet Protection Collar for Dogs Cats Rabbits Small Pets

This soft fleece pet protection collar offers a gentler alternative to traditional rigid plastic cones. It is designed to help prevent pets from biting, licking, or chewing at wounds, stitches, or irritated areas, and can also be used to limit mating behaviour. The collar is suitable for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets, making it a versatile choice for multi-pet households. With six sizes from XS to XXL and five colour options, you can find a fit that suits your pet's neck and your preference. The lightweight construction, ranging from 60g to 180g, means your pet can move, eat, and sleep with less interference during recovery or grooming. Please note that this is not a medical device; always follow your vet's advice for wound care and recovery.

Features and Construction

The collar is made from a combination of polyester, sponge, short plush, and coral fleece. These materials are chosen for their softness and warmth, providing a comfortable experience for your pet. The padded design helps distribute pressure evenly around the neck, reducing the risk of chafing that can occur with harder plastic cones.

Material and Build

The outer surface is made from short plush and coral fleece, which are soft to the touch and help keep your pet warm. Inside, polyester and sponge provide padding and structure, so the collar holds its shape without being rigid. This combination is lightweight yet substantial enough to stay in place during normal movement. The materials are easy to spot-clean with a damp cloth, though hand washing is recommended for a thorough clean.

Size and Practical Fit

Available in XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL, the collar can accommodate a range of neck sizes. Weights vary by size: 60g, 80g, 100g, 120g, 140g, and 180g. This means even small rabbits or puppies can wear a collar that is proportionate to their body. To choose the right size, measure your pet's neck circumference and compare it to the size guide. The adjustable strap allows for a secure yet comfortable fit.

Uses and Placement

This collar is intended for short-term use during recovery from surgery, wound care, or grooming, as well as for managing mating behaviour. It can be used in a variety of settings, from home recovery to veterinary clinics and grooming salons. Because it is soft and flexible, it allows pets to eat, drink, and lie down more naturally than a rigid cone.

Event or Professional Use

Groomers and veterinary staff may find this collar useful for keeping pets calm during procedures or while drying. The soft material reduces stress compared to hard plastic, and the range of sizes ensures a fit for different breeds and species. It is also a practical choice for shelters and foster homes managing multiple animals.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the collar helps prevent pets from interfering with healing wounds or hot spots. It can be used after spaying or neutering to discourage licking, and for rabbits or cats to reduce the risk of unwanted mating. The collar is easy to put on and take off, so you can supervise your pet during breaks. Always remove the collar if your pet is left unattended in a confined space where it could catch on objects.

Benefits and Buying Value

Choosing a soft collar over a traditional plastic cone can improve your pet's comfort and reduce anxiety during recovery. The materials are durable enough for repeated use if cared for properly, and the lightweight design means your pet can move freely. The availability of multiple sizes and colours adds practical value, as you can select the best fit for your pet.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The collar can be hand washed with mild soap and water, then air dried. This makes it easy to keep clean between uses. The materials are colourfast and resist fading with proper care. Store the collar flat or hang it to maintain its shape. With gentle handling, it can be used for multiple recovery periods or passed on to another pet.

This pet protection collar combines soft materials with a range of sizes and colours, making it a practical choice for pet owners, groomers, and shelters. It offers a comfortable alternative to rigid cones without compromising on the ability to prevent licking and biting.
