Cotton cord round coaster and placemat set in a three-piece pack with 18cm diameter

This set of three cotton cord coasters offers a straightforward solution for everyday table protection. Designed with a modern simplicity aesthetic, the round coasters feature a consistent 18cm diameter suitable for most drinkware. Available in four distinct colour options—grey, pink, purple, or blue—the set allows you to choose a tone that complements your existing tableware or interior decor. The use of cotton string as the primary material provides a naturally textured and absorbent surface that helps manage condensation from cold drinks.

Features and Construction

The coaster set is defined by its simple, functional design and material choice.

Material and Build

Each coaster is constructed from cotton string, which forms the principal component of the fabric. This material provides a natural texture and some absorbency, which is practical for catching minor drips and condensation. The coasters are not described as having a backing or additional layers, suggesting a single-layer construction of woven or wound cotton cord formed into a flat, round shape.

Size and Practical Fit

Every coaster in the set has a diameter of 18cm. This size provides a broad base of protection for a standard glass, mug, or bottle, helping to prevent water rings and heat marks on wooden, laminated, or glass table surfaces. The round shape is a common and versatile design that fits easily around the base of most drinkware without specific orientation.

Uses and Placement

These coasters serve a primary protective function in various domestic settings.

Event or Professional Use

For casual gatherings, meetings, or events where drinks are served, the three-piece set allows you to protect a small table or a defined area of a larger surface. The modern simplicity style means the coasters do not carry overt thematic designs, making them suitable for professional or neutral environments like home offices, reception areas, or cafés aiming for a clean look.

Everyday Home Use

In daily home use, these coasters are intended for the dining table, coffee table, bedside table, or desk. Having three coasters means you can protect multiple spots where drinks are commonly placed—for example, on a coffee table for yourself and two guests. The colour options allow for coordination with room accents or for creating a small colour-themed set.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its practical application and reusable nature.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As durable fabric items, these cotton cord coasters are designed for repeated use. Their maintenance is simple; they can be spot cleaned as needed without requiring specialist washing instructions. Their construction from a single primary material simplifies care. Being part of a three-piece set increases utility over a single coaster, offering value through multiple units for the price of one purchase.
