Floating Rock Little Fat Man 10.5cm Deep Diving Long Tongue Board Mino Fishing Lure

The Floating Rock Little Fat Man Mino Lure is a 10.5 centimetre artificial bait designed for anglers targeting predatory fish in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Weighing 15 grams, this hard plastic lure utilises a long tongue board design to achieve a deep diving action during retrieval, creating a lifelike swimming motion intended to provoke strikes. Available in five distinct colour variations—colour A, colour B, colour C, colour D, and colour E—it provides options suited to different visibility conditions, from clear to stained water. This product arrives ready for use, offering a practical solution for those seeking a consistent, reusable alternative to natural bait.

Features and Construction

This artificial lure is built around specific specifications aimed at predictable performance in the water. Its construction and dimensions are defined to help anglers understand its application and fit within their existing tackle selection.

Material and Build

The lure's body is constructed from hard plastic, which provides the necessary buoyancy for a floating or suspending action and forms the structure that houses the diving lip. This material choice contributes to the lure's overall durability against toothy fish and repeated use. The finish is applied to create the five available colour patterns, each designed to offer a different visual stimulus under water.

Size and Practical Fit

With a total length of 10.5 centimetres (105mm) and a weight of 15 grams, this lure fits into a medium-sized bait category. These dimensions make it suitable for casting with a range of rod and reel combinations, from lighter bass gear to general-purpose spinning setups. The 15-gram mass aids in achieving casting distance while allowing the long tongue board to engage effectively for a diving retrieve.

Uses and Placement

The Little Fat Man Mino Lure's design targets specific angling scenarios where a sub-surface presentation is required. Its profile and action are intended to mimic a small baitfish, making it applicable across various fishing disciplines.

Event or Professional Use

For tournament anglers or guides, the consistent 10.5cm size and 15g weight allow for precise repeatable casts and depth control, which can be critical during competition or when targeting specific structures. The availability of multiple colours means an angler can quickly adapt to changing light conditions or fish preferences without switching lure models, keeping a streamlined tackle box.

Everyday Home Use

For the recreational fisherman, this lure offers a straightforward option for a day on the water. Its hard plastic construction means it requires no special preparation or maintenance beyond basic care, and its all-in-one design means it can be tied directly to the line and fished immediately. It is a practical choice for bank fishing, kayak angling, or casual boat trips where simplicity and reliability are valued.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this fishing lure lies in its specific design parameters and the practical advantages they offer to the user. It is positioned as a tool that performs a defined function within an angler's collection.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As an artificial hard-bodied lure, it is inherently reusable. Unlike live or soft plastic baits that are typically single-use, this product can be used trip after trip, provided it is cared for properly. Basic maintenance involves rinsing off debris and checking for hook rash or paint damage, making its ongoing cost of use relatively low after the initial purchase.

Why Choose This Product

Anglers might select the Little Fat Man Mino Lure for its clear 10.5cm and 15g specifications, which allow for informed gear matching, and for the option of five different colours, which provides adaptability. Its classification as a bait for both freshwater and saltwater broadens its application, making it a potential single-lure solution for anglers who fish in varied environments. The design focuses on delivering a specific deep diving action via its long tongue board, addressing a particular presentation need without extra complexity.
